Climbing harness (CHF 10) and crampons (CHF 30) are compulsory. Those who do not bring their own equipment must rent it in advance from the mountaineering school. Please fill in the information on eating habits and material requirements under additional information.
Description
The Jungfraujoch/Lake Märjelen glacier hike starts with a train ride to the Jungfraujoch. On this guided alpine hike, you’ll pass the Great Aletsch Glacier before reaching the Konkordia Hut, which is one of the most charming in the Western Swiss Alps. You’ll spend the night here and take in the final rays of sun. On the second day of this hike in the Aletsch Arena, you’ll continue to Lake Märjelen, a place steeped in legend and from there back to Fiescheralp. Note: Seat reservations are mandatory on the Jungfrau Railways from 1 May to 31 October. The journey to the Jungfraujoch is not included in the price and must be arranged by the guest.
