Aletsch forest UNESCO - Snowshoe trekking
Description
We take the gondola to the Moosfluh and descend to the 11'000 year old moraine. High above the glacier and far away from everyday life, we experience the enchanting fairytale forest and the winter silence of the UNESCO World Heritage Site up close. Knorrige Arven and traces of hares, foxes and squirrels are our way companions. If you feel like it, you can take a break on the Riederfurka, if not, we descend directly to the Riederalp. Adventurous people occasionally dare the Diretissima descent.

Price: adults CHF 40 | children (6-16 years) CHF 20 incl. snow shoes
Equipment: robust, if possible waterproof hiking or mountaineering boots, functional winter clothes (no jeans), gloves, cap, sunglasses, sun cream, drink, snack and personal medication
