This chalet is a great abode to spend the Summer or Winter holiday and closely connected to the wander trails and skiing slopes. The outside areas of the chalet contain, on its west side, a terrace with seating area and a lawn. The lawn borders on the Alp forest. On the chalet´s south side is located the main terrace with seating furniture, bordering on a flower garden with native flowers, mainly lupins. There is also a barbeque. The chalet´s terraces on the south and west side have a very high degree of privacy. Its eastern side borders on a large lawn that borders on the lower situated neighbouring chalet. The sun-lit terraces are a great place to have breakfast and lunch in Summer (and many times also in Winter) and offer a magnificent panorama of the summits of the mountain range on the other side of the Rhone valley. The path near the house connects with the adjacent free pedestrian elevator (Schräglift Alpmatten) that is open 24/7 in all seasons and puts you right in the centre of the village. For Winter holidays, Chalet Bettmerlodge is closely located to the Alpmatten skilift and slope, which is connected to the 104 km ski slope-network of the Aletsch area. On the day of your arrival your apartment is available from 16:00.
